Assemblies (except PreK ) will be held in the JEC auditorium (located next to Central BOE office). Parents may sign-out students upon completion of ceremonies.
Families, please stop by JEC and pick up your 5 day meal box by 3pm today or (tomorrow) Friday. Spring break starts March 25- April 1. Students return to school on Tuesday, April 2.
As a helpful reminder, the Boys & Girls Club will be CLOSED on Friday, March 22. Please ensure your student knows how they are going home on Friday.
As a reminder, individual and class pictures will be taken tomorrow on Thursday, March 21 for all students and classes. Packet information has already been sent home.

Please join us at JEC tomorrow, March 19, to do a science experiment open to all grades from 5:00pm -6:00 pm. You also will receive a little snack!
Skating Party tonight from 6-8pm. PTA is covering the cost for all current JEC students entrance and skates. Parents may skate for $1 skate rental. **Students must have an adult present with them for the duration of the event.
Boys won the first round in the basketball tournament last night. They play again tonight at 4:30 at JEC against Mineral Wells. Come out and support your boys!
Calendar update: In order to account for missed school days due to inclement weather, students will now attend school on May 31 as well as June 3 and 4. Preschool will attend May 28 and 29. For staff, June 5 will be a curriculum development day (students do not attend) and June 6 will be a day to prepare for the end of the school year (students do not attend).
Science Family engagement activity for Feb 29 has been Canceled due to illness.

The online parent survey will be available from February 26 through April 12, 2024.
Parents are asked to complete an online survey about school climate—the learning and teaching/working conditions—to help guide school improvement efforts. The results of this survey will be used to make changes in their child's school to ensure a supportive environment for teaching and learning. The survey may be completed from any computer with an internet connection.
