Happy Easter! Enjoy your last day of spring break and this beautiful weather. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces tomorrow! As we return to school tomorrow, please have your child’s iPad charged and packed. We would also like all students K-5 to return the charging cubes and cords so that we can begin to keep iPads at school. It is important that we ensure all devices are on site, charged and in good working condition (as we do not have loaner iPads if one is left at home). Thank you for your support in ensuring your child’s academic success!

Friday, March 26 is HAT DAY. Please wear a hat and donate a $1.00. ALL money collected will go to Wood County Society. Jefferson Elementary Center has been donating money to this cause for several years. It is nice to see our school name on TV showing that the students at JEC donated to this wonderful event.

A HUGE shout-out to Assistant Principal Rick Dobson for his continued efforts to bring archery to JEC. Mr Dobson secured a $1000 check from Cabela’s this week to go towards creating an archery program. He received an additional $1000 from the National Archery Sport Association. JEC will continue to work to secure the remaining funds necessary to create a Jefferson Elementary Archery Team! Such an incredible opportunity for our youth. Thanks Mr Dobson for all you’ve done to make this dream a reality!
