Wood County Schools has the opportunity to provide a 5 day meal box to the students of Wood County that can be utilized during Christmas break. Meal boxes will be delivered to your schools the week of 12-9-24. Each shelf stable meal box has 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches. This is through a grant program. No refrigeration will be needed. JEC PTA Santa Shoppe.... December 9-13th. They will be set up in the library as they have in previous years. Students can shop during their library time, but teachers can also send students with money to the shop anytime between 8-2:40. Friday hours are 8:00-11:30. December 12th from 3:15-6:00 families are invited to shop.

Freeze dried candy fundraiser will end on Dec. 6. This fundraiser benefits staff and student incentives. Orders will be delivered the week of Dec. 16. $8 per bag- contact office if an order form is needed. Please get your orders submitted by Friday.
Coach Ryne Hill of JEC will be hosting our boys basketball tryouts afterschool on Tues.-Wed., Dec 3-4 from 3:05-4:30. Open to grades 3-5 students.

Thank you for your support! JEC raised $995 by duct taping Mrs. Lowers to the wall for the fundraiser to support the grade 5 end of year trip. 995 strips of tape were applied- 23 rolls of tape- and she successful hung from the wall. Giggles galore!
Tomorrow is the big day! Tape the principal to the wall! For every $1 donated, your child will receive 1 strip of tape. Proceeds go towards the end of year fifth grade trip. Let's do this!!
Attention parents and guardians of Jefferson Elementary Center students who ride bus number 42: Due to a road closure, the bus stop at 12th Street and Avery Street will be relocated one block over to 11th Street and Avery Street. This change will remain in effect for the rest of the week.
