The Williamstown Middle School Science Fair awards ceremony will be held in the Middle School Gym at 5:30 THIS evening- community viewing from 4-5:30. Come check out the work done by our middle school students!

WMHS would like to showcase some of our artistic students. Students were asked to submit posters for a vaping prevention poster contest within wood county schools. Winners will be announced at a later date. These were some of the top picks sent on to be judged for the contest. Way to go jacket artist.

We would like to thank Westbrook Health Services for coming to speak with our middle school students this week on the importance of recognizing warning signs of suicide, identifying their trusted adults and resources available to them. If you or someone you know is struggling please encourage them to reach out to the hotline number. Resources are available in the counseling tab on the school website.



Tomorrow is Picture Retake Day! If you did not get photos on the original day, or even if you just need a do-over, make sure you are at school tomorrow. We will start at 8:30 in the morning.

Monday night our middle school volleyball team defeated Edison. Tuesday our high school volleyball team defeated Wheeling Central, and our Soccer team defeated Roane. Tonight, middle school volleyball travels to Vandy. Tomorrow night, high school cross country runs in Doddridge County for the LKC Conference Championship, and middle school football travels to Wirt. Saturday our middle school volleyball team competes at Ritchie for their conference title, high school volleyball competes at Ravenswood for the LKC Championship, and your #3 ranked YellowJacket football team will take on the #1 ranked Frankfort Falcons at 1:00 pm here at WHS. Good luck to all of our Jacket athletes!!


On Wednesday's we wear pink! Lets rock our best pink attire tomorrow! The Community Care Club continues to collect donations during zero period and lunch. Lets honor the survivors and those who continue to fight breast cancer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month . The Community Care Club will be collecting donations from 10/14-10/18 for the Susan G. Komen fund. On Wednerday's we wear pink so dress in your best pink attire to show your support! With any donation, students can display a pink ribbon in honor of someone or just to show support.


WMHS will be partnering with Williamstown Elementary School to have a Pajama Day Monday, October 14th. Have your child bring a non-perishable item that will be collected to go towards hurricane relief. Please review the poster for more information.

This Friday, the YellowJackets will take on St. Marys at WHS. This will be our last matchup for a while. Please come out and join us for this event.
October is breast cancer awareness month so both cheer squads will be collecting money for WVU Medicine Camden Clark's Pink Mammogram Fund.
Friday is also Super Booster night so we will be recognizing our Super Boosters before the game.

This Tuesday morning, we have the honor of hosting the State Supreme Court, as they will be having actual trials in our auditorium. PHS, South, Ravenswood, and Ripley will be joining our seniors watching different cases. The public is welcome to watch the trials in the auditorium. Be sure to read the press release attached.
