BRING: two #2 pencils, snack and drink, and wear a mask

Families & Students,
Please be mindful of PSAT-NMSQT testing this coming Wednesday, Oct. 14 for A-K 10th graders (and registered 11th graders). The test will be given to L-Z students later in the month (Thursday, Oct. 29). Virtual students should also come to test with the appropriate alphabet group.
Students must arrive to school in time for period 0 (by 7:45) since testing will begin at 8am in the middle school gym. Please remember to be on time, wear a mask, bring 2 #2 pencils, and leave your technology behind (in your locker or at home - do not bring to the gym). Students who are sick should not come to school on test day. Snacks and drinks are permitted during breaks. Rest up so you can do your best!

Parents: If you want an access code for Schoology to monitor your child's classes/assignments, contact any of the teachers on your student's schedule.

Sixth grade students from Mrs. Daughtry's Enrichment Science class working hard on spreading soil and placing landscape fabric preparing an area where they are building a "Garden of Freedom" to honor those lost on 9/11.



Congratulations to the Golf team for qualifying for the state tournament next week. Members who will attend the state tournmaent next week include: Xavier Caruthers, Gavin Bosgraf, Baylor Haught, and William Barniak. They are led by Coach Rich Siley.

The Counseling Department is in the process of updating the department page on the WHS website. Information which has traditionally been published via the counseling bulletin will now be posted under "Announcements & Updates" instead. (Students will also receive a barcode, but the barcode is not necessary for this virtual event.) When students register, they are sharing their registration information only with colleges presenting on that particular panel. StriveScan does not sell or share personally identifiable student information with any other third parties.
Students should participate live so they can ask questions and interact with the college admission counselors. If students are unable to attend live, we still encourage them to register for the sessions they are interested in and recordings will be available here later.
