2021 Generals’ Diary order form
It is time to begin thinking about purchasing a yearbook to preserve memories made during the historic, unusual 2020-2021 school year! This year’s yearbook theme is, “Generals Unmasked.” The hardback book will feature 52 full-color pages designed and produced by creative, dedicated eighth-grade Jackson Middle School students. Because our attendance has been blended or remote through the first semester, fewer pages will be produced, and as a result, books will be discounted.
You can save $5 by ordering your yearbook for only $25 on or prior to Friday, March 5, 2021! From March 6, 2021, through Friday, April 23, 2021, books will be $30. From April 24, 2021, books will be sold at a final price of $40 until none remain. Orders will be accepted until all books are sold. We have been very pleased with our Herff Jones books in the past and have received incredible feedback; we anticipate the same response this year. Therefore, don’t delay your purchase!
To pre-order your copy of the 2021 book, complete the order form below, and return it with payment to your first period teacher or to Ms. Linville, yearbook sponsor, in room 31. Yearbook staff members will process your order and issue a receipt to you as promptly as possible. The yearbook will not be delivered until the start of the 2021-2022 school year to allow our staff sufficient time to cover end-of-year festivities, including winter/spring sports and the JMS Olympics. Times will be announced for outgoing eighth-grade students to return to pick up their books, and if books remain at this time, they will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

• Eighth-grade parents/guardians: a separate flier will be distributed in the coming weeks with information regarding tribute ads. Please follow up with your student if you don’t receive a copy and are interested in placing an ad to honor his or her middle school accomplishments!
• Picture day is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 18, with a make-up day of Friday, Feb. 19. Students attending remotely or virtually are encouraged to come Friday morning, Feb. 19, to be photographed for the yearbook. Photo packages from LifeTouch will be distributed in first period prior to picture day.
• A winter/spring sports picture day also is being scheduled and will be announced soon!
