The lockout at Blennerhassett Middle School and Elementary has been lifted. The threat has been investigated and pertains to another school within the state. Classes have resumed normally at both schools.

The Blennerhassett Middle school received information of a threat via snap chat, they have moved into a lockout. Therefore we are going to follow suit at this time. The Wood County Sherrif's Department has been notified of the threat. Therefore we are on a lockout no one can come into the building. We will conduct business as normal inside the school. Everyone is safe.

Just a reminder, please do not send your child to school sick as they will be sent home. Any child sent home sick, will be excluded from school until they: Have a negative covid test, have a note from their dr allowing them to return, OR quarantine for 10 days. Students symptoms must be improving and they must be fever free for 24 hours without medication before they can return. Also as a reminder, no medication can be present or given at school without a doctors order. This includes cough drops, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and medicated creams/ointments.
