Vandy Family Game Night will be February 12 from 4-5:30. Students and families will enjoy loads of game play with up to 10 games to try out. All families that attend will get to take home their favorite game to be able to have their very own family game nights. This amazing past time builds family bonding while also working on critical thinking skills, such as strategy and logic. Join us on February 12 from 4-5:30 for the Vandy Family Game Night!

The book fair opens in one week! This will be Vandy's last book fair. The fair will be open for student purchasing during their activity period. We will also have a family game night on February 12th from 4-5:30. The book fair will be open for families to purchase as well as loads of fun games to try out with your family. Families that attend the game night will get to take home their favorite game. Books and games...how exciting!

We are aware that some misinformation is circulating regarding today's dismissal times for Wood County Schools. Please note that all schools will dismiss today, Wednesday, January 15th, at their normal dismissal times. Thank you for your attention and understanding.

Wood County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, January 14th, due to refreezing roadway conditions and low temperatures.

Correction: The January 13 edition of the *Parkersburg News & Sentinel* incorrectly stated that Wood County Schools would be adding an additional 30 minutes to the school day in relation to "equivalency time" for days missed due to inclement weather. In fact, Wood County Schools already incorporates 30 extra minutes into its regular school day, which can be used to account for missed instructional time. To be clear, Wood County Schools will not be adding 30 minutes to the end of any school day.
