The Parkersburg High School Speech and Debate team competed at the Wheeling Park Winter classic tournament on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Wheeling Park High School. PHS competed against 17 schools from the Pittsburgh area and West Virginia. Winners are as follows:
- 1st Place Public Forum Debate-Isabel Bhati and Pallavi Sundaram
- 1st Place Dramatic Interp-Daphne Cockerham
- 2nd Place Oratory-Lily-Rose Walker
- 2nd Place Declamation-Dorothy Clark
- 3rd Place Poetry-Amelia Davis
- 3rd Place Prose-Elijah Conger
- 5th Place Prose-Brittany Ward
