PHS Science Teams participated in the 2023 West Virginia Envirothon April 20-21 at Cacapon State Park. This competition involved 32 teams from across the state, testing students in aquatics, forestry, soils, and wildlife. PHS received the "Rookie Award" for being the highest scoring first year team. They placed 2nd with their presentation on "Adapting to a Changing Climate" proposal and finished 7th overall. The team also won the Nature Trivia contest. Team members include Isabel Bhati, Myles Johnson, Nate McPeak, Grant Murphy, and Lily-Rose Walker. Thanks to member-at-large Jackson Simmons and advisor Lisa Berry!
