Wood County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, January 14th, due to refreezing roadway conditions and low temperatures.

Due to inclement weather and missed instructional days, the grade reporting period for Wood County Schools has been adjusted. Correction: The January 13 edition of the *Parkersburg News & Sentinel* incorrectly stated that Wood County Schools would be adding an additional 30 minutes to the school day in relation to "equivalency time" for days missed due to inclement weather. In fact, Wood County Schools already incorporates 30 extra minutes into its regular school day, which can be used to account for missed instructional time. To be clear, Wood County Schools will not be adding 30 minutes to the end of any school day.

Jackson Middle School will be closed for students and staff today, Thursday, December 12th, due to a water main break that has left the school without water.
