The Administration understands that allegations against a WCS school teacher were a topic on social media over the weekend and members of our community are understandably concerned. On February 29, 2024, shortly after being made aware of certain allegations against a high school teacher, the Administration suspended this employee indefinitely pending the outcome of several investigations by school officials, law enforcement, and DHHR. If and when any official disciplinary action is taken against the employee by the school board, it will be a matter of written public record. Until the investigations are completed and official action is taken, the Administration will not be able to provide further details.
