PARKERSBURG - Jefferson Elementary Center administration was made aware that a student was found in possession of a knife on school property. The safety and security of our students and staff are our top priorities. In accordance with school policy, the student has been immediately suspended pending further disciplinary action. We are working closely with local authorities to ensure a thorough investigation is conducted. We want to assure our community that we take such matters very seriously and are committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all students.
