Substitute staff and coaches for Wood County Schools are encouraged to opt in to receive calls and texts from the district. These communications typically include updates about inclement weather, school delays, or closures but may also be used for emergency notifications.

The district will use the phone number currently on file with the Human Resources office. To verify or update your phone number, please contact HR at (304) 420-9670, ext. 153. Coaches will have the option to enter their phone numbers directly.

Important: This opt-in does not include calls from individual schools. For example, if you are a substitute at Parkersburg High School, signing up here will not ensure you receive calls and texts directly from PHS. This service only applies to calls sent from the central office.
