4:30-6:30. Students must be accompanied by an adult.
Our fundraisers has arrived and is sorted and ready for pick-up. It is all stacked by grade outside by the gym doors in the bus loop. All items are tagged with your name. Pick-up is between 4:00 and 6:00 this evening. However, if you want to pick it up from 1:30-2:30, you may pull up in the loop by the doors and get your packages. You do not need to contact the office, just pick your items up. Please do not come after 2:30, as buses will be picking up children. Thank you for your support!

Every year at this time we must fulfill a requirement of the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) of 1986. It is our responsibility to notify in writing, parents/legal guardian, school staff and employee organizations of the availability of the Asbestos Management Plan for each facility. Fundraiser pick-ups
We found out early this evening that there has been an issue with the fundraiser delivery. It will not be arriving tomorrow. It will be arriving next Thursday. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The location of the girls' basketball game for this evening has been changed.
The game will be at 5:45 at Blennerhassett Elementary School.
Families,
Fundraiser items will be available for pick-up on Thursday, November 2 from 4:00-6:00. Come to the cafeteria doors and someone will help you get your items. If you have items that need refrigerated or frozen, please make sure to get them. We do not have refrigerator and/or freezer space to store them over night. A huge thank you to everyone that purchased items. The fundraiser made around $6,000. The profit from Fall Festival and the fundraiser will allow us to purchase items to promote student safety.

Reminder, there is no school for students on Thursday, Oct. 26 (Parent-Teacher Conferences) or Friday, Oct. 27 (Professional Learning Day). Classes resume as normal on Monday, Oct. 30.
REMINDER: Parent-Teacher conferences will be held Thursday, Oct. 26. Contact individual schools for schedules or to make an appointment.
Just a reminder that parent teacher conferences are this Thursday. The conferences begin at 11:00 AM and end at 6:45 PM. If you haven't scheduled one and would like to meet with your child's teacher, please let the teacher know. If your child attends math or reading intervention, you may request a conference with Mrs. Roberts (Math) and Mrs. Edgar or Mrs. Tanner for reading.

Just an FYI about attendance ratings...
When the state looks at chronic absenteeism, they consider any child who misses more than 18 days in a school year chronically absent. It does not matter whether the absences are excused or unexcused.

Wood County Schools’ Arts Awareness Programming has begun! This month, students have the opportunity to see a live show!
Your child will attend an arts awareness program sponsored by Wood County schools and Artsbridge on October 25, 2023! Wood County native and American Pops Orchestra Maestro, Luke Frazier, will bring his symphony to town for a special APO Storybook Performance of The Three Little Pigs! Students will be transported by a Wood County school bus to the host school, Blennerhassett Elementary.
