2023 Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship Program Information
The 2023, Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship Program will award up to $5,000 to as many as 150 recipients. *Note, this is not for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree. See info at end.
Applications will open Monday, January 9, 2023 at 6:00AM Central Time (7am EST) and close on March 31, 2023 at 3:00PM Central Time (4pm EST).
Please note, Lockheed Martin maintains relationships with priority institutions near our facilities. Students attending those institutions will receive preference in review of their applications. Those institutions include: Pierpont Community and Technical College (WV)
Applicants will be notified in mid-May. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients. Students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Lockheed Martin. Payments are made in August.
As part of your application, one online recommendation must be completed on your behalf no later than April 10, 2023 3:00 pm Central Time (4pm EST).

Vocational Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
Applicants to the Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship Program must meet all the following eligibility requirements. Applicants must:
1. Be a U.S. citizen.
2. Be a high school senior OR high school graduate (or GED equivalent).
3. Have not earned a bachelor’s degree prior to the 2023-2024 academic year.
4. Be currently enrolled or planning to enroll full-time or part-time (minimum 6 credit hours) at one of the following types of accredited institutions: vocational-technical school, trade school, two-year community college, or state college.
5. Be pursuing an associate’s degree, credit-bearing certificate, or an industry-recognized credential, in one of the fields of study below, with an anticipated completion date no earlier than December 2023 and no later than June 2026.
6. Note: If student’s Specific Major falls under one of the listed Fields of Study, but the student’s Specific Major is not listed, student is still eligible to apply.
