Grades 3-5 Check your child's mid-term on Schoology

Good afternoon parents. A huge thank you is going out to those who complied with our request to come on time to pick up your children. We were able to cut 3 minutes off our time from yesterday. We did still have some who arrived too early. This creates a bottleneck early. Traffic gets backed up on River Road, as well as Grand Central Avenue and 23rd streets. I would also like to thank the Vienna Police Department for their continued support and extra presence during our arrival and dismissal times. Again, we will continue to be more efficient if we all plan to arrive at the appropriate time. The system is working, and I truly appreciate your compliance. We are all trying to keep our Neale Eagle family safe!

Good afternoon. I'd like to discuss a few things about our arrival and dismissal routines. We have begun to welcome all of our students, five days per week. We are thrilled to have everyone here. This creates a situation, which requires more time to dismiss all our children. I'd like to thank so many of you for being patient and arriving at the correct times. It is very helpful to have parents arrive in a staggered time frame. Arriving too early is causing traffic congestion. Some of our parents have chosen to pick their older children up close by. The students may safely cross with the crossing guard, if you can plan to meet them somewhere you are comfortable with. Some like to meet at Walgreens and some prefer Harbor Freight. If you feel safe with this plan, it might work for you.
I had many complaints that their vehicle was passed while they were waiting in line to turn into the school parking lot. Please follow the traffic laws to keep our Neale students, parents and staff safe. I was also contacted by the Vienna Police Department. I assured him that we have multiple staff members working to keep everyone safe during our dismissal. We have also increased efficiency and shortened our time each day. This is going to be a group effort and I truly appreciate each of you helping us. It's a great day to be a Neale Eagle!

Attention Parents:
