Greetings parents and guardians: While working through a glitch in our all-call system, Wood County Schools realized that our morning, elementary school attendance calls to parents informing of a student absence did not go out. We want you to know that this occurred and that the problem has been corrected. Absence calls will continue as normal on Monday.

Criss Families: Friendly reminder that our families are to read thus weekend the 1st chapter in our "Criss Families Read Together" book, The Enormous Egg.
4th grade homophone bingo
Criss Families: Tomorrow is the final day of "I LOVE READING WEEK" and our 2nd annual Read-A-Thon. We will be reading all day and our Criss Families Read Together book will be revealed. Dress in pajamas and bring a blanket and pillow.
Criss Families: Since reading makes you powerful, wear your favorite superhero shirt. PreK will participating in their Read-A-Thon.
Criss Families: Tomorrow's theme for "I LOVE READING WEEK" is Wild About Reading. Dress up in animal print and bring a stuffed animal.
Criss Families: Tomorrow is our 2nd day of "I LOVE READING WEEK!" Dress up or dress in red for your LOVE of reading and our afternoon dance. In the morning we will have a "photo booth." For $5, a student may get their picture taken with up to 2 friends and will receive 2 strips with 3 pictures on each strip. If time allows, students may purchase more than 1 set. Tomorrow is also the day that our READ-A-THON fund are due.

Criss Families: Tomorrow kicks our annual "I LOVE READING WEEK!" Our theme for Monday is "Reading Gives Us School Spirit" so wear your Criss apparel or school colors.

L@@K Criss Families: Save the date! We will be having a St. Patrick's Day party on March 17th. Parents and guardians may come and join their child for fun, food, and games. Please refer to the attached flier for grade-level times and safety and security procedures.
Criss Families: This is a friendly reminder that all Read-A-Thon funds are due by Tuesday, Feb. 14th. We have a fun event lined up for our students which include a glow-in-the-dark read, Valentine card read, and other exciting activities.
