8th grade students:
Golden Horseshoe essay test will be February 10-11, 2021. All interested eighth grade students must sign up with Mrs. Cain in room 26 or by sending a Schoology message no later than Monday, February 8.
When a student is absent from in-person instruction, a parent note or doctor's note needs to be turned into Mrs. Mendez (or basket in the office) upon return. This includes any quarantine or isolation paperwork from Health Department or health care provider.

Good morning. All Wood County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay for Thursday, January 28, 2021. We will continue to re-evaluate road conditions throughout the morning. Thank you.
Students who ride Bus 204 in the Afternoon
The Transportation Department notified us that a tractor trailer is blocking part of the route and the bus will not be able to get through to drop students off this afternoon. We have called students to the office to contact parents. If your child rides bus 204 in the afternoon, please pick them up at Blennerhassett Middle School this afternoon.

8th Grade Parents
Students are receiving their scheduling forms this week during Mrs. Cain's class to create their schedule for Parkersburg South High School. It will be a purple form with various courses listed. These are due back to Mrs. Fling by February 8th. If you have questions about courses or requirements, please call Mrs. Fling at 304-863-3356.

Science Fair Information
We will have our school Science Fair February 23rd and 24th. More information is posted on the Science Fair Schoology page and will be shared during science classes this week.
